I'm a noob to compressors so this is my slant on the Air Venturi I just got.1st. The box it came in is quality! Not some simple "UPS" box that gets trashed in shipping.Very thick and well lined with foam. Nice job AV!!!2nd. The instructions are very easy to understand and follow. Took me just about 10 minutes to add purified water, Purple Ice and oil. I did use Castrol 5W30 since you ain't finding a 5W40 around here.3rd. It is a quite machine! Running in the back room I don't even need to raise the TV volume!4th. Auto shut off. Mine is just a tad high. Maybe 500 PSI or so. That is based on the Tank Gauge and a Joe-B Gauge. So I know to set the AV just a bit low.5th. Time. Pumping a 2200 PSI fill on an SCBA tank from 0 to 2200 PSI took 35 minutes. I did do several bleeds on the compressor to dump the gunk oil stuff though.6th. Temp. This unit never went above 67 degrees C so I don't see any issue with over heating at this time.7th. I used the supplied male/male fitting to hook the tank up. Worked perfectly!Over all? I'm a happy Camper!!
Jeff,I had seen some hour meters that start and stop with vibration. I've never used one so I don't know if they work well.Taso
