Crosman 101 & Brass Benjamin scope mounts

Just got my Crosman 101 back yesterday after a getting a reseal & tuneup from our very own Longhunter:
The 101 is so much fun to shoot & the Town & Country peep sights are deadly accurate.
Also, on a tipoff from TerryM I was able to score these original vintage brass Benjamin scope mounts:
I cut up some leather for a more snug fitting & mounted them on my 342 with an old Weaver Marksman:
Thanks guys & thanks GTA!

Thank you.
Just when I get the 342 all dressed up with it's new hardware...
It's now losing air on the upstroke & retaining air after 4 pumps.
Not sure what's going on.

So it's holding air though over night?
"Losing air on the upstroke" you mean if you leave the arm open it will continue to leak air until the valve is empty? If that's the case it's clearly something with the check valve. Try adding more oil and maybe push the debris by with the oil. That don't work you could try alcohol flush to clear out what's inside. Though It could probably use a reseal

Yes, it holds air overnight - never had a problem with it till this weekend.
I actually had it cocked, pumped, & loaded all Saturday night while looking for rats from the window. I left it that way overnight & fired it off Sunday morning.
It wasn't till then - when I went to put my 2 pumps in it for storage that It started to release air when the pump arm was open on the upstroke.
I'll give it a go with an alcohol flush tonight - never tried that before on any of my rifles - so it'll be a learning experience for sure.

Be sure to shoot the alcohol until dry and then give her a good oiling when done and shoot that through seveal shots to distribute the oil.
Alcohol not only flushes debris but it also dries things out... and absorbs moisture.

A couple of very nice looking guns. That 342 looks like it just came out of the box! Hope you get your glitch figured out. Not much is hard to fix on these guns.
