Do you have the factory spring back in the air valve now, or the new spring you had ordered? Lol, I sort of lost track of that on one of your other threads.
Well, i’m Stumped too. Everything you did “should” give an increase in velocity.Hhhmmmm, could it be the adjustable pump arm is down a bit too far?Don’t like the sound of that valve coming loose.
Will,Hope this O-Ring is the ticket - and the velocity holds. Those square O-Rings - I had to use the curved part of a paper clip necked through the o-ring to make sure I did not have it twisted or on its side. Used the paper clip to pull up on the o-ring after putting the o-ring on and then slipped the clip around to make sure it was OK, then I just slipped paper clip off.
Well I just pumped her up two pumps and will let her sit over night to be sure she holds air ... I'm sure she does. When I get the urethane "O" rings I will coat them with very, very heavy grease to help stop any airflow pass by, by any micro abrasions on the "O" ring that I may not see. I have some DuPont 111 somewhere ! It is used as a airgun spring dampening grease for many, many years and stays put !!wll
Sounding good. Let us know how it turns out. Main reason I’m trying to get a bunch of “good” O-rings for my pumpers.
wll-Care to share any O-ring part numbers with us ?Being a "New to me" Benjamin 392 ownerjust got a 2015 from a member, {placing me as 3rd owner}And it being my first Benjamin. I don't have any info or "stock extras" for it, yet!I do know about the O-ring store but don't know if the 70's-90'snumbers are the same as rubber or not ?All the "better" rings I've gotten so far are from places that charge more for them.[a bit to much](as they do have to mark-up stuff to be able to afford to have them on hand and keep the doors open. But some are a bit to much thinking even the little sales are paying for their own extras. 33% is enough to be able keep them in inventory, more than that is just making them to much, IMO)JustSay'nAsk'nThanks
