Good evening ya'll! Just wanted to give an update on my efforts with the Vantage. So if you remember it was shooting so hard it broke the stop pin off my Leapers one-piece mount. PA sent me a new replacement. I ordered a Tesla seal and GRT III trigger. All arrived this week, and I was able to install today. Used a bar clamp for a Spring compressor and pulled the gas ram and piston out. Degreased the gunk inside the chamber and ran some emery cloth around a broom stick to deburr the inside. I almost didn't get the new seal on. I was scared I was going to damage it, but some instruction from YouTube saved the day. I lubed the piston seal with silicone oil and carefully installed it. No problems. Re-installed the trigger assembly and put everything back together and installed the GRT III trigger. I went out to shoot several 10 shot strings. Man that trigger is amazing! It went off before I expected it on the first shot. The gun was dieseling a bit at first (at least it had some smoke coming out the breech). It stopped doing that after 20-30 shots. I was shooting 10yds at a 4" circle and it was all over the place at first. It finally began to settle down, but then got some more fliers. I checked the stock screws and they had shot loose. Tightened them down and kept 5 shots in the bullseye. I think it's still shooting hard, but I believe I'm going to order some heavier pellets. I was shooting CPwadcutters, 7.4 grain (that's all the hardware store has here, lol). Think I'll order some 10gr pellets. I want to get it dialed in before re-mounting the scope (I just hope I haven't damaged it!). Anyway, got to spend a nice afternoon shooting with my son. Thanks to all of you that have offered your assistance!

Got to make an unexpected run to Cabela's yesterday and picked up some Crosman 10.5 gr. Spent the afternoon shooting the Vantage NP. Shooting 10shot strings I'd get 4 or 5 in a quarter at 10yds with open sights. Still the occasional fliers; not sure if its the pellets or shooter. I did notice that some of these were considerably harder to seat. No problems loading the 7gr pellets, but some of the 10.5s took some pressure to push in flush. I'll say it seems like the gun shoots smoother with the heavier pellets; not so much of a "crack" when it fires. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help. Still working on shooting a couple hundred pellets through it, before re-mounting the scope.
