Sam Yang Devils Claw

(1/2) > >>

captainabrussell:
I want to add a shroud to my Sam Yang .50 cal. Devil Claw. However the threads are blocked by the air reservoir. My question is does anyone know of someone who is selling or making an adaptor that screws onto the barrel and extends out far enough "1" so I can screw my shroud which has a "1/2X28 female thread" onto the Rifle. Also can anyone tell me what is the thread size on the Devils claw barrel. All responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Alton Russell

I don't think your shroud is big enough at the threaded end..............  .50 cal is 1/2" So your 1/2"x 28 shroud will be a bit small, I think the Dragon claw threads are metric something like 14mm or 15mm x 1.25 or 1.5, so you're better off buying one specifically made for the Dragon claw....

Sorry.
I'm not sure the size of the thread I don't own a Dragon claw, but I found this, not sure if it will work for you.

Will Piatt at Saddle Mountain Gunsmith can answer that question for you. He works with the Dragon Claw on a regular basis.

Sam Yang makes shrouds for their air rifles.
The barrel thread on Sam Yang Recluse .357 and the Light Hunter .45 are the same. The barrel tread of the Dragon Claw is different.
If you like, sent me a pm for more infomation
