One option is to get a pound on Delrin Muzzle Brake. The barrel thread is only so long and the MB can be knock on 3.25" or more; hence OAL isn't increased much. The MB alternative doesn't add much weight though ...............
I have a HW95K, threaded barrel with a moderator on it. Does Weihrauch or someone else offer a threaded muzzle weight like the newer HW98 has? I would like the option of shooting without the moderator with a shorter OAL but do not want to leave the threads exposed.
Understand Jeff,However, even though some folks swear by moderators (sound dampeners) on Springers, IMO .... the idea is somewhat ridiculous, and needlessly complicates their simplicity.Much like Weihrauch stock changes, likely marketing driven .
