Mike, at least you got out and threw some lead! I felt like you from Thursday to today, Sunday as we (wife and I) were up in the Sierras staying @ a friends huge cabin including his wife, it was beautiful!

The lady took us through the Sierras to Lake Tahoe and Stateline on a day trip. That is an amazingly beautiful area. Back then, there were relatives just across the border in Brookings, Oregon. We made another trip through California to visit them in 1981. Life got busy after that and we have not been back to the west coast. Yesterday, was the first morning I had ice on the pickup when I left for the hunt. Oh, I am liking this weather!
Nice shooting Mike! Your racking them up!
Mike, great hunt and excellent shooting on all 4 fox squirrels! Nice pics!
Great shooting on those fox squirrels! I got four reds today, only about 5.5 oz of meat (deboned) between all of them. Tomorrow morning I'm going out to try and get a couple more to make a nice dinner.

I hope you are also successful when you try for more Reds to complete your dinner. 5.5 ozs isn't much meat from four squirrels. [We don't have any of those around here.]
