Ken, get in touch with Rick at Precision Pellet, he will have the parts you need for your 180. I have a couple of 180s and a 187, they are great shooters.
My fIrst variant 180 has a different valve, it is pushed in ,it does not have slot to loosen it up.I got the seal kit but it’s leaking down the barrel, is this the exhaust valve? What is the part called to rebuild the exhaust valve and where do I get it?I know I have seen some kind of plastic exhaust valve on eBay but I don’t know if it would work.
A Crosman 180 is a single shot bolt action. How does it shoot 15 shots auto? Maybe you meant just the C02 goes out I am confused by your last post. I have 4 - 180's and 1 - 187 that I resealed. I would just do the labor for you if I was close by you, I have some parts on hand including a couple valves too. Just shipping both ways might be cost prohibitive though? I hate to see a 180 not up and working.
You might try this Mac- 1 trick. Remove the gun from the stock, gas it up and take a propane torch and slightly increase heat evenly to both side of the breech and shooting until the valve seats properly.I've done this on several guns with good results. 110 degrees F. max...just enough to soften the Urethane seal for seating. dave
