Stopped at Harbor Freight on the way home and picked up a nice set of Diamond dremel tools (the pack is small enough for memsahib not to notice).Ported the valve on the project 1322 and slowly increased the transfer port from about .145ish to .1610 and decided to stop there. Wrapped steel wool around a dowel and spun it through the air tube. Got White Lithium Grease in my Wallyworld cart for tomorrow so I should be reassembled by the weekend....maybeMany thanks to the Skyler McConahy article!
This past Monday i had a new "kid" start in my department...about 28ish... Now that we have gotten to know each other.. he is a big time PB shooter. Since then he has noticed I was on GTA at lunch... "What's with these air guns? I hear they are not just BB guns"Oh my LORD.... I spent the next hour trying to explain.Poor kid was "drinking from the Fire Hose". "But why would someone spend that kind of money for an 'air gun'?" he asked.I have loaded the AA S400 SL and my HW98 in the truck ....tomorrow I will blow his mind!Muh-ha-Hah!
Yeah... better hold off on the Texan for now... wouldn't want to push him off the cliff.... yet.

Shot Diana 48 and Diana 36 to run the PG3 kits through the ringer( John Thomas tunes) we were busting dime size spinners at 50 and powdering sidewalk chalk at 60. HN 14.66 were the clear winner in the 48 and the .177 mod 36 loved HN baracuda FTs in 9.57 grain. We had a responsible sip of bourbon and talked about shot cycles, triggers, parallax, etched reticles, sought after models, models we own and the usual banter of 52 year men who haven’t grown out of airguns. I am blessed to have a buddy who lives close and is as passionate about all things airgun as I am.
Got home with the GX-CS3 (Xisico) compressor and headed for the Red Shed. This is one of the ones that was converted from grease to oil from FDAR.Plugged it up and put a dead head into the foster fitting. Set the autostop at 3500 and pushed play.Very surprised at how quiet it is. My OrcAir 12/110v is much louder. It ran right up to the set point and shut off. Bled it off and repeated. Same results.Looks like a keeper. Gonna get a bite to eat then top off a couple guns.
