Title: Shooting table recommendation?
Post by: EPG8 on March 27, 2021, 03:06:34 PM
My girl is reclaiming our deck table - for such things as food and conversation.  Any recommendations for a good bench rest shooting table? I am a target shooter - often use a Caldwell Precision Shooting Turret or a Caldwell bag on the table. Ideally it would be portable. Thanks in advance.  -Ed

Google "plywood shooting bench".

You'll get all kinds of options.

A 4' folding table from Walmart works good. Folds up great for road trips too. Less than $40.

I heard rumor SWMBO may be getting new patio furniture  ??? I guess I get the old rustic picnic table, and a couple recliner rockers, but they will be more permanent.
Have thought about some type of youtube DIY portable though.

Lol, well she is hot, 15+ years younger than me and is fully supportive of my air gunning addiction. So, I’m good with giving her the deck table back. BTW, we did break in the deck within days after moving into this house last summer.  ;) I found a table on Amazon that adjusts from standing to sitting heights - $99... I might go for that one.

+1. And I turn them at an angle to easily accommodate my elbow instead of an "L" or "T" shaped table, and you have plenty of room for other stuff and ammo, etc.

I think i know the adjustable shooting stand you are referring to . Am tempted to get it for the adaptability it offers, itgives me more options as to where I can target shoot, or even comfortably sit /stand and pest. I have some of their other products and happy with quality vs price.

Back_Roads - yes, that is the one. Seems awesome to have that level of height adjustment.
