That 135... Man that looks like a sniper's best friend! But uuuugh no .25cal as expected (barrel option in the future?)... I can't speak on the price, since to me $300+ is ridiculous for a typical AG that needs another $50-100 in tuning/work. If the craftsmanship of the rifle is high and the technology modern... I'll keep a very close eye on this thread.
BTW- Please tell me this is a gas-ram, I cannot take another antiquated "springer..." It's 2011-12, WHEN are AGs gonna catch up to modern advancements in power-plant/material development???
Thanks op!

So ... looks like one's a Gamo CFX clone, and the other is a Whisper?
... but they're Turkish?
... and expensive?
meh... Pass.

If these rifles performed like the Winchester (Hatsan) 1100XS I'd say pricing it similarly would be reasonable. With a two-stage adjustable trigger, of course. Just my opinion.

Hi everyone,
Jay, picatinny/weaver rail, for 100X it looks so hards because of the aluminium frame. But in 135X model ,its frame is steel and available for it and will in next days
But there is weaver rail in both models right now.
Darry, hatsan have been running in this field sine so long time and as a national brand we're proud of with them but they could do better in this time. So we're running with new projects and crazzy products and will hit the market in a close time. Cos we invested huge amounts in this way and doing.
About the pricing, of course it'll be reasonable but our prices is lower than hatsan when you compare with their products as new model adjustable cheek piece one.
What is the best price for you for this rifle?
I wanna to get all yours reports, comments and advices for modifications and new models.
PS: The design is patented our own design
have a nice shooting

Hi Magy,
Thanks for the update. Are your triggers two-stage adjustable? If not, then tell us, and you'll find a lot of input from here as to what a desired trigger would be. Also, since you're set to out-perform Hatsan, what in your product line challenges the Hatsan 155 Torpedo?

Hi Darry / L,
Its, two stage and adjustable with new safety locking system.
* The stock design is tumbhole
* Adjustable cheek piece
* It's a first in gun market in the world that there is a special rubber coating in our stocks. There is three steps after injected the stocks then covering with a special rubber material. It offers to comfort and shooting enjoyment.
* 100X is more powerful than 155
* Its Hatsan and we're RETAY
is it enough?

Magy,
Thanks for the link to the reviews of the model 100. I just read them. Here are some things I would like to see.
For performance: a TRUE 950 fpm with 7.9gr pellets in .177 // 800fpm for .22 calibre.
For Features on the Air Rifle:
1: Ambidextrious stock for us Left Hand shooters.
2: Shorter barrel length...maybe 15" (of course, shorten cocking lever).
3: High quality barrel construction and finishing of inside bore.
4: Highest quality Spring and good fitting guides...made of Delryn or a high grade plastic. Urethane seal on piston.
5: High quality control for sear/trigger assembly and finishing.
I would like to see a company employee take their time to clean up the piston, spring etc.,, and take pride in making each rifle the best that they can.
Again Magy, Thanks for your information, I have been interested in this rifle since i first saw the Retay website last year. BEST OF LUCK TO RETAY AND YOU MAGY

Hi Mike,
1 - As I told in my first email retay is like a baby in airgun market its second year in this field and rapidly try to running so we are aware of the lack of stock for left shooters and working over it and will let you know.
2 - Shorter barrels, we have been producing for german market as short barrel cos we got orders only from germany. You can have a look.
3- We're using USA tools for high guality barrel, as rifling button, reamer, drilling and we're one of the best in polishing and surface quality in our place.
If you want I can send the usa company name and details.
4 - For springs, we are using stainless cilisium steel Made in France. We have the technical test reports of springs, if you want I can send. Or if you have any advice please share with me
5- The tirggers are made of Zamak and Steel, there is not any plastic in trigger group. The Zamak materials coated nickel and steel is free.In next days I can share the real pistures of trigger group and we can talk about it and can discuss
About the cleaning of rifle, as you told there is polishing oil, dirty oil, etc and in oiling and shooting it can be dirty and we got such emails from users about it and you're right. About the cleaning we need only three months for our new factory and system so if you dont make any comment about the cleaning of rifle you make me so pleasure hehe
)
I thanks for your precious time and comments and would like to hear more to make/create the BEST ONE which everyone likes or will like and admire a gun but with your advices and helps
many thx

well first i would prefer a 9 or 10 inch fully shrouded barrel for max velocity possible and IMO if a gun is advertised to shoot at 1350fps it should be fully capable of it with lead pellets, and many of the older shooters will tell you to slow it down so it has less recoil and vibration so it will be more accurate. power is good but it not worthy if it ruins accuracy also deffinately a very strict QC so buyers know its a quality product and can feel confident every time they pick the gun up for casual shooting or hunting. This will deffinately result in very few return products, and a 2 stage adjustable trigger that is very crisp and around 2lbs pull weight would be nice, and i would love to see a well designed traditional wood stock with a nice finish and a glow type appearance as well as a nitro piston
http://www.retaygun.com/UDetay.aspx?ID=169
if this rifle shot at a true 950 fps with 8.3gr. RWS superdomes and had some features i mentioned i wouldn't mind paying $350-400 for one, and maybe some tar on the spring

Hi Reta, I was very lucky to be able to purchase a new Retay 135X .22 from Richard Lynch. I am very impressed with what you have done with the Retay 135X. Your design engineers have come up with a fantastic air rifle.
I have written a couple reviews on it and am overly pleased with what I see. You did your home work on these guns.

Gene,
I just read your reviews. Great work. The rifle is just beautiful. The positives you list are impressive for a new rifle in our market. Only one negative too, but that will probably resolve itself as the supply line catches up. Magy was right about this one.
I forgot to ask, Gene; HOW LOUD IS IT? I see it has a muzzle brake. Is it functional? Is it as quiet as the X20S?

Not any louder than a Trail NP. By the way I did forget to mention another positive. The lock up is excellent on this gun. One of the best I have seen in a while.
