Though I would love to see a 10FPE Single Stroke Pneumatic .I do believe that it is doable. Just has not been done yet.

I'm trying that now, using a 2100 as a base. I think an 11 inch stroke will get the job done. That's ~54 cc's of air and ~180:1 compression ratio.
If you were adding an air rifle to your arsenal for a survival gun what would it be?Use:small game in the potkeeping pests out of the gardenQualities:Low maintenance - and easy to maintainEasy to use(accuracy a given)

For me it's got to be self sufficient.

For me it's got to be self sufficient.Ditto. PCP does not fit the bill as it is not self sufficient. CO2 is a bad choice for the same reason. Springers are a no-no because they require a way to compress the spring if you have to work on them, not to mention that it would be very difficult to manufacture a sufficient spring for one if all outside resources where temporarily suspended. For me it is Pumpers. Either a good powerful SSP, or even better a MSP (as these are easy to get up to power). Pumpers are easy to work on with a minimum of tools, you can easily make replacements for any of the seals, and most of the parts that are likely to fail in a worse case situation are fairly easy to make with a minimal of resources. The light weight springs are even fairly simple to make (unlike the heavy spring of a Spring Piston gun).Of course it helps if you have at least one Air Conserving Pumper of decent power per shot (at least 7FPE).
