Most powerful is the Hunter.25 it penetrates galvinized metal at 30 yds through both sides...the trick is to get it to go straight through......most powerful hands down

I think it is the cannon of airguns! The thing is you really can't just plink with it. I get up to about 50 shots and it goes back in the case. I use it really only for hunting. I think I got a couple raccoons with it last year and I know I got a possum or two.
What is bizzare is it is very accurate if you use the bigger pellets. I can put my shots into a dime-sized group at 20 to 30 yards with it. It isn't as accurate as my RWS 350, but it is accurate enough to take down a coyote, skunk, possum, or raccoon from my deck 33 yards away to the bottom lands.
Other mods if you have an issue with a hunting picture in this forum, just delete the picture.

Seems a lot of shooters like high powered Turkish made air rifles. If purchasing one can wait. The word seems to be Hatsan will be selling there rifles in 2012.

How about the RWS 54? Accuracy and power rolled into one. Maybe not the most powerful springer ever made, but it's accuracy is about as good as a springer gets. It's often compared to the 12 FPE target rifles in terms of accuracy, yet it yeilds much more power. It will wreck a scope in a short period, but so will many others. The one I had would split playing cards at 25 yds with a fixed 4x scope, the major limitimg factor was how often I could make it occur. I had a .25 British Patriot and traded it straight across for the 54 in .22 and that was one of the best trades I ever made, not the looker the Patriot was, but one fine shooter.
I only hunt, and am totally out of springers now, one day I'll own another 54, but have no interest in another Patriot.

When I get my talon or falcon I'm going to order the rubber coated scope pa sells.. I have a feeling that the rubber coating will make a huge difference in what is transmitted to the scope when the rifle is fired
