I am waiting on a new chronograph to arrive before I do the probe MOD. I would like to know what king of gains (if any) I will realize. I am following your current project and am excited to see how it ends. John 93

I recently ran across the Springfield and the reviews have been very positive so I was curious to hear your experience especially since you are an active member on an airgun forum and not just a dude that bought a “cool toy” and left a good review.More BB GunsVery nice! Out of the two you show pictured, which do you like better (if any) and why? Maybe just a list of each’s strengths and drawbacks? 95
Buyer's, Seller's & Trader's Comments / Taso1000 A+, no worries.« Last post by StockClassDD68 on Today at 01:10:25 AM »I recently purchased one of the HW100s he listed for sale. Great communication throughout and easy to deal with, a minor mix up was corrected immediately and very kindly at his expense (shipping a magazine back and forth). Thanks again bud, and to anyone considering dealing with Taso, buy with confidence.

It should arrive when my 40:1 arrives from RotoMetals.

Out of the two you show pictured, which do you like better (if any) and why? Maybe just a list of each’s strengths and drawbacks? From the 2 1911 i would pick the springfield. The blowback is stronger, way better trigger (more like an actually 1911 single action pull), magazine falls out when you hit the mag release, you can field strip like a 1911, and IMO it looks a whole lot better. As for my bb co2 replicas, this is my nicest one I have and the only downside for me is that the rear sight was drifted a little to the right out the box, but it is still very accurate for a bb gun The good things about the colt over the springfield is that it has a rail for accessories, I can use my speed loader with the magazine(mags are cheaper too), and it was half the price of the springfield with good accuracy. Trigger is bad (very awkward and I need to use a glove because trigger guard rubs on my finger to much) and the rear grip safety is just for show. You cant field strip but you can easily get to the seal for the co2 cartridge if needed by removing the grips. Colt was made by Umarex and the Springfield was made by AirVenturi Both were made in Taiwan 98
German AirGun Gate / Re: New Diana 460 magnum, expected FPS?« Last post by Thumpa on Today at 12:30:51 AM »The ARH moly is the best bang for the buck I know of. He sells the grease for the spring as well if you want.Hi Rion. I've ordered some lubes and a couple of other bits and pieces from ARH. They will take a couple of weeks to be delivered but in the meantime, I have also purchased a product called "molybond" which is a 50% moly based grease. It has been around on the Australian market since I was a kid, probably long before that time. I might give it a go too. During the last reassembly, I lightly lubed the piston seal with TbT "bum slide" which is a UK based, high moly content product. The rifle is shooting okay but I still feel like there is a fair amount of friction against the piston seal which is impacting pellet speed. The TbT lube almost feels a bit gritty, but it is meant to be THE lube for this type of application. I'm finding out the hard way that not all is as it is claimed to be in the air gun world LOL. 99
German AirGun Gate / I have read the HW50 .177 vs .22 Thread Until My Eyes Crossed!« Last post by bowzette on Today at 12:11:55 AM »https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=199351.0
Question: I shoot at a club, from a bench, killing paper at 50 yards. While an outdoor range it has good wind protection. Wind but usually not crazy when I lived outside of Austin. Because I am shooting at a known static distance and don't care about estimating holdover or humanely killing a piece of paper would I be better off dealing with the wind with faster .177 pellet or heavier .22 pellet with a rifle producing 11-12 FPE? My current pile of pellets are JSB and FTT .177 in the mid 8. range and .22 in the mid 14. range. Thanks 100
