Well guy i know the title says spring and here we are in summer but i think i may need to move the shoot to fall. Right now with my health condition its just to hot outside to even leave the house safely and to have even a small places a/c keep up in this heat is hard. Is everyone with a date preferably in September? When the heat and bugs drop down hopefully. Otherwise it would be a short like week notice if there was a nice opening in august. Weather has been crazy up here in the NW, Heat indexes up to 110 today!

Got some trigger time. Figuring out how I would setup the field. Some pics below. Bit hot out today but my cousin enjoyed the ground squirrel destruction today. September is fast approaching. So weekday or weekend for a day to go. I know it will have to be after September 10th. Waterfowl season starts in September also so I will be hunting almost nonstop next month. Looking forward to having you guys over to shoot.

looking forward to it!

leaving for montana on the 25th. setting up the guns, checking the hide, getting the camo clothing ready, just packed the ammo: polymags, hunters, hunter extremes, hades, and 3,000 rounds of 22 lr for my daughter to play with. i'm stoked about this pesting "job" i'm doing.

oh yea, my daughter is getting married too!

Sounds like a epic time with the family, I may have multiple days that way everyone gets a chance to come out. Lots of flat land to shoot on here

September is getting closer. Up-keeping the yard finally at a steady pace. What targets does everyone use at fun shoots? Pics from todays practice. Even the wife joined in!

For targets, I have some election signs for mounting paper targets and some spinners. Do you have a date picked out yet? My wife needs 2 weeks notice to get the time off.

I've been saving aluminum cans. I have spinners, paintballs, chalk, paper targets, knockdowns, exploding soda bottles...

I will post my address soon as I know the date is ok. I am also on the gta map 😎 closest town to me in McConnell 61050, I am way out in the middle of nowhere. So make sure you bring what you need out. Town to get anything is in Freeport 61032 and that's 20-30 minutes away haha. Rockford is about 1 hour from my location to the east of me. Galena is about a hour west of me.

The 21st sounds good here. I'll remind Nicole to take that day off if she is scheduled to work. Is it OK if we bring our dog? She is very gun shy and would hide in the back of my truck the whole time.

No problem with you having your dog out Jerry. Lots of room out here and I have no dogs. Just one mini pig in a pen and some free range chickens.
