I would like to see some slings on RWS 34. I don't want to drill any holes so some options would be great.
Thanks Jim I've been wondering who made those barrel swivels. I'll have to check around little rock and see if anyone carries them.

It dawned on me this afternoon you could make a thin plate from S/S that would serve as a spacer between the stock and butt plate of the 34. Extend the one end of it enough to allow for a nice rolled crimp with swivel attached. It would have to extend enough to avoid interfering with shouldering butthat shouldn't be too difficult to determine. It could also have a slight bend towards the barrel in theextended area. You could even drill a hole in the extended part mount the swivel there and forgo the crimp. The butt plate provides a traced pattern. This would make a nice short project.

I'll have to think about that one. Have to find some material thick enough to be drilled or maybe folded over to a crimp to take the swivel. Can't be to thick to cut with a jigsaw with a metal blade. I like your optimism with a nice short project.
Here`s a picture attached as a word doc below ;which you should be able to open and look at! (oops double post !!)Take careKenny.

(oops double post !!)Take careKenny. That is very much what I was thinking. Except I like this one better and looks easier to make by eliminating the extension to minimum. Need to check this out Rickey if you haven't already. Thanks again Kenny, great help! Got my BSAog site approval this afternoon.jim
