Ed, thanks for the pics .... how did you place? I've been reading a little about FT ... I think there are 3 divisions, and you entered into Hunter FT, correct? Is HFT only sitting? I think the rules are no tripods, and 12 power magnification max? Is there any restrictions on the height of the bipod, or the type of seat .. vs a bucket? If I wanted to lug around a drum throne, is that permitted? I might get interested if I don't have to get prone .... and shooting off hand is out of the question. My off hand is the barrel doing figure eights, and I time the shot as the target intersects the figure 8. Thanks again, Allan
John, Ed, and Chiro;Thank you sooooo much for the great advice, answers, and encouragement. This absolutely looks like GREAT FUN, and I will certainly take a serious look next season. I'm in Pittsburgh, PA, and old man winter is on our heels in a couple of months. I shall practice, even at 10 yards in my basement this winter ..... shooting off the bipod (unattached bipod), my drum throne (without backrest). Hope to see you guys out there sometime.Ed, great showing, and standing up to those inflatable boys. I'll put my TX up against them, just for the challenge, especially after having it tuned this winter. Certainly is a sign of the times ..... not enough springers to form a class in the nationals .... not even 3 ... everything is going to PCP. I get it, the PCP's have an advantage with accuracy, no recoil, etc., and I too will probably follow that path .... but the "challenge" and "satisfaction" comes truly from the springer. IMHOThanks again guys ... my horizens have been opened ...Allan
