New AA S500 in .177 cal .......pics

I got the AA S500 today. Four days late due to ice and snow last week, but she was worth the wait.
First off I noticed the S500 (in poplar) was lighter than the AA S400 (in walnut), about the same as the FX Cyclone (in beech).
I said to myself, that stock doesn’t bad at all. Not as nice as the S400 or the Cyclone, but not bad at all.
Wiped her down with oily rag to make her shine for some pictures taking.
Ran a few patches threw the barrel. Patches came out clean, matter of fact, cleanest I have ever seen a new barrel. Checked stock screw, it was a little loose.
Mounted a Hawke 4-16x50 30mm scope on it and sighted it in at 15 yards with no problems, unlike the Cyclone.
Filled the air tube to 200 bars and grabbed some CP Heavies from the box that were made back in the good old days.
With a 15 to 25 mph wind, I put a target out at 15 yards. First shot two inches low and 3 to the right. Second almost missed the paper. Went the wrong way on the windage. Back the other twice as far and shot three was two inches low but almost dead center.
Seven shots altogether I had it zero in. Got a new target with a one inch bull and a half in bull. Took 5 shot at the one inch and fine tuned the scope. I was happier than a possum eating yellow jackets.
Took 10 shots a the half inch bull. As you see in the picture, The S500 like CPH pretty good.
While shooting the S500, I didn’t noticed anything different from the S400. Trigger and bolt action about the same, NICE.
Back to taking some more pictures, I noticed a ding on the stock. First gun to ever been damage new out of the box. Oh well it got a bad ding and I can live with it.
Okay guys, what gun to buy next.

Thats a beauty Glenn and an accurate one at that. Now we've all something else to drool over. I like that shooting "bunker" too

Great looking and accurate PCP.
I'm not sure but I think that trigger is similar or the same as the AA S410SL's. Just be aware there's a very little hex screw (Behind the trigger) that pushes on a very small spring which pushes on a ball bearing, which pushes on the trigger safety cylinder. This hex screw is infamous for coming loose and dropping out!!!!! If that happens you'll possibly lose all those little parts and be left with no trigger safety.
I took that hex screw out of the trigger of my S410SL and dabbed just a bit of Blue Loc-Tite on it and screwed it back in. No problems so far.
There's more to this story about my 410....I won't post it here since it's not that related. But if anyone wants to know....just ask on this thread. And I'll post it.
