If I was looking I'd be looking in the $100 - $150 range on those guns. I know there will be others that say they are worth more. The problem for me is today's shipping costs. When I look at what a gun would cost me to own I have to look at the total cost including shipping.
It’s almost not even worth selling anything unless sold locally.
I was looking for posts on selling tips/ideas, and this post seems close... I am also looking at culling the herd (to justify adding a BT65 .30). What I have is low end items such as a Hatsan Mod87 and Crosman Mag-Fire, and a couple of CO2 pistols. I'm not expecting to get much for them, but to me that's better than them collecting dust. I could post in the classifieds here or check if the local pawn shop (which does trade air guns) will offer anything. Can anyone suggest any other methods for selling/trading? Maybe Ebay? Does anyone know the easiest way to find what states it's okay to ship to?
PyramydAir has their shipping restriction list on their faq page. Look at "Are there any shipping restrictions?"
I can think of 8 or 10 guns I would be willing to sell right now but in order to make them attractive to potential buyers I have to consider shipping costs. Even if I sell them + shipping (buyer pays shipping) I still have to price them low enough to attract a buyer. At today's shipping costs I would most likely have to sell them at a considerable loss.Others have suggested these discount shippers such as pirateship... I just can't make myself comfortable with those options. So every time I think about reduce the arsenal all this goes through my mind until I land on.... well, they ain't costing me nothing to just keep them.I recently wanted a new gun so I went through my PB guns and took a real look at what I had and what I shot. First thing I did was pull out the guns that are actually of use to me. I narrowed it down to 3 that were duplicates or just something I couldn't come up with a scenario where it was my only option. I took those guns to a local gun shop and told him how much I wanted. Maybe I could have asked for more but I knew I wouldn't take less. The man handed me what I asked for in cash and I walked out happy.
