What will be the range for the big bore Fun Shoot competition?
As I recall, it was 75 yards last year and all was going well until someone destroyed the paintball stand with a single shot. I won't mention the culprit's name but it starts with ez and ends with 604.
I think anything over .25 needs the 100 yard minimum so they din't blow the paint balls off the target again
Bet I can STILL clear the stand with one shot, even at 100 yards. LOLTakes special talent you know.cough-cough
If it is going to be Steel Gongs maybe several progressively smaller targets at various distances. Perhaps start th 75 yards and go out at 25 yards increments. That way it would be a real competition and would also make for some interesting platform testing for those with an interest in purchasing a big bore in the future. It could be done over two days. Day one for shooter practice and day two for the competition.
I'm pretty sure I only live a few hours from the shoot. This would be a lot of fun to check out. I'm new around here, though.Do folks typically visit all three days or just come and go on individual days?

For me, it depends on flight schedules. Last year, I arrived in Harrison on thursday, drove to the shoot on Fri, stayed fri and sat night, then drove back to harrison on sunday, and flew to DFW on Monday.Come and go as you like.
