I purchased an hour meter for mine that's battery powered and activated through vibration. Works good so far as long as it doesn't rattle loose.

Here's an interesting thought:"Conventional clay litter is indistinguishable from clay-based oil absorbent (used to clean oil spills); as the latter is far less expensive, it is often used as a substitute. Non-clumping cat litter is often made of zeolite, diatomite and sepiolite." ......is the cat out of the box o this???
...I can find no concrete evidence to support the need for a PVC insulating sleeve... I am packing the tube directly with the desiccant media and we'll see how that works out over time.

I have been considering the same, except I will try putting in 2" sections of tampon at each end of the filter...

That's a sweet set up!!
Finally got the Yong Heng compressor today, my freight forwarder is a sea freight outfit. Here's a pic of my HPA Filling Rig (unfortunately the relay in the compressor failed after only 14-minutes) :
Okay, weird question about the zeolite media- can it be used like that standard color-changing desiccant media? I have a cheapie Harbor Freight 3/8" desiccant filter, and was wondering if I can just use the zeolite media in place of the standard blue desiccant media? Or would that be bad? Here's a pic: My set up is simple, compressor line to above filter, to the SB booster, then to the high side filter, as described on this thread then to the tank... In case anyone was wondering.
