Shot a few targets today with my Pro, using 15.89 JSB and 14.66 gr Vortex pellets. These two groups are about as good as I could manage. Sandbag front rest and just the shoulder in the rear. The thing would shoot three or four in one hole, then a flier or two would spoil the groups. This theme just basically kept repeating. Pretty sure it was ME causing the fliers and not the Pro. Overall, pretty happy with how she shoots though... For those considering getting one of these--This thing will give you a work out just cocking it. I removed the front sight blade and made a plastic filler block for the dovetail. Made it easier on my hand to grasp the moderator and cock the buggar!
I shot mine at 30yds today and was at about an inch group w/ Norma 15.9g & Norma Heavy 17.6g. Im not too concerned about accuracy at this point, as I only have 460 shots thru it and its cold here, 30*

It was mid 30*'s again today and I got another 100 pellets thru the gun. Shot count is now 560. I told myself that im not going to judge its accuracy until I see 1000 pellets thru it, so Ive been shooting the cheap pellets that I have alot of. So for now, its mostly Norma 15.9g and Crosman CPHP 14.3g, ans some 17g Norma heavy pellets.Well today this happened. I decided to see what the trigger pull was, and try a longer trigger screw. Stock screw turned all the way in was 4.5lbs, with the longer screw, 1.5lbs. This alone has made a huge improvement in accuracy! Remember, I not even trying for accuracy yet, and just paying attention on the way the groups tightened up. Down to about .75" to 1" at 30 yards. I have a cheap 4-12 scope on a Chinese recoil mount. I was shooting off a front bag today and for laughs, I took a whack at a 6" target 45yards out, and this happened- 3 in a row!
H95Kidd; I have a large assortment of nuts/bolts/washers/screws at work, so I was able to find a longer 12mm screw.I have a trigger gauge and used it to adjust like this... I put the longer screw all the way in and backed it out until the trigger weight came up to 1.5lbs. With the screw all in, the gun would not latch when cocked. I backed it out 1/2 turn until it would latch, then out some more until I was satisfied. I banged on the stock to test if it would accidentally fire. This longer screw is not the best way to lighten the trigger, as it decreases sear engagement, but it does the job. I bought a Charlie Tuna trigger, but Im not going to install it until I have 1000 shots thru the gun, in case I have any warranty issues. Its easy enough to put the stock screw back in if I have to send the gun back. When I go ahead and install the CDT trigger, Im probably going to de-bur and polish the parts. The Gamo gunsmith will see the work and likely void my warranty. I work on my own guns anyway, and I want to find a source to buy a replacement gas ram & piston seal just in case.
