M-Rod Scope Mounting Question
«
on:
September 14, 2011, 07:58:15 PM »
I have a new .25 MRod coming and I have purchased a:
CenterPoint 4-16x56mm AO Scope w/RG Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle
for it.
What is the lowest height Scope Rings I can use with this 56mm?
Keeping in mind I don't want to interfere with the Mag.
Also, what is the receiver grooves, 11mm or 3/8?
Thanks for your help.

I have the exact same scope on my MRod and I am using the high rings which gives me just a touch over a 1/4" space between the adjective lens and the barrel.
You will find that the most scope rings are for either 11 MM or 3/8" and all that is needed is the other side of the little piece that thightens onto the groove over

I love them as I have 2. One on the MRod is non-illuminated and the other on my Rainstorm is illuminated

forgot to mention BKL pull in from both sides when tightened so they center up almost perfect and you lose no windage adjustment on scope from dovetail variation versus the single sided clamp style of rings
