This is pics. of my pawn shop find Daisy branded FWB 150. When I got the gun it shot fine shooting 7 grain R10 match pellets at 510 FPS. in to one hole at ten meters but the Walnut stock was pretty beat up and was very dark you could barely see the grain in the wood. So I striped it with a citrus based stripper it took 3 coats to get most of the stain out. Once stripped I stared with 320 grit sand paper and a hot iron to get most of the dents out the rest I used the Royal London stock oil to make a slurry to fill in deep holes. Then soaked stock in wet towel to raise grain then went to 400 grit another soak in wet towel the 600 grit then 0000 steel wool took 3 days of sanding to get it right. Put on 5 hand rubbed coats of the Royal London stock oil letting it set up for 3 or 4 hours between coats.I think it came out pretty nice.
