I'm creating this post due to several inquires of how I made the fixed compensator removable from the gun. The modification is quite easy and requires very few tools. I finished mine in about ten minutes.
You will need; Sig Sauer P226 X5 BB Pistol, 5/64 allen key, Good pair of pliers.
Locate the small allen screw underneath the compensator. Remove the screw and pull the compensator off the barrel extension.
This is the more difficult part, use the pliers to unscrew the barrel extension from the outer threaded barrel. There is some sort of glue on the threads making it difficult to remove.
Once you remove the barrel extension clean the threads of glue, your gun should look like this...
Slide the barrel extension, larger end first back into compensator. Secure with the small allen screw.
Now you should be able to remove and replace the compensator by hand.
Hope this helps out anybody who owns this gun,
Andrew
