Ted Williams Match Rifle
TerryM:
Went to an estate sale this morning. I go to a lot of these, usually leave empty handed. Found this prize today for 50 bucks. Made for Sears by Crosman, looks like a second variant (?) model 160. Beavertail forearm and scope grooves cut in receiver. Has a compartment in the butt for two extra CO2 carts. Matching Ted Williams scope is a dressed-up Weaver from the looks of it. Has steel adjustment covers, nice clear optics. The gun had an old, copper-colored CO2 cart in it, so it hasn't been shot in a long, long time. Needs new seals, that's an easy job. Wood has only a couple of marks on it, the metal is nearly pristine. What a treasure!
VillageSniper:
Wow that looks real nice. Brand new. Nice find. How fast did these rifles shoot?

TerryM:
My other 160s shoot a 14 gr a little over 600 fps.
45flint:
Amazing buy! Seen those go for 4 or 5 times that!
BrushPopper:
Looks like it might be missing a peep sight, but still an excellent find.
I’d buy em all day long for that
