I got a chance to try out the wireless alert system recommended by other members last night. So far, I am really happy with it and it works as described. I will probably pick up a couple more.

The first time the alarm sounded, it was not a critter I was hoping for. It ended up being a stray cat I have seen before so obviously I let him pass. A little while later, a critter I wanted to show up did and I took the shot.
Nice sized rat. Shot taken at 20 yards.
I mounted a green laser illuminator on the marauders' scope for night ops.

Nice shot with your Mrod!
The Ding Donger works great with small critters. One night it went off at night a few times and everytime I went to the window there was nothing there. Finally I saw some movement like a shadow moving away from the cat food. I looked through the scope and a minute later the little shadow came zooming back in. It was a little field mouse running here and there grabbing some dry cat food. The sensor was 10-11ft away placed there for larger critters like coons and possums, but it still detected a small mouse. Can't ask more than that.
