Ron, when those Ruger Air Magnums first came out, they were most common in .177.
To me the Air Magnum and Octane are totally different guns.
As far as I know, I have the only Ruger Air Magnum .177 in existence..........Should I feel special?

Not so much the theory that the conversion makes a special one-of-a-kind 177 RAM. I have factory made RAMs in 177 and 22 so it's not a special caliber RAM.A successful conversion project IS something to be proud of and it is likely that you are one of very few people that have made that conversion. A good reason to document your project (as you did here) on the GTA forum. Thanks for that thread :-)
