Lubricating TX200 Breech Seals?
«

I use to lubricate the breech seals on my TX200 with a small drop of silicone oil every 1000 shots or so. I stopped lubricating the breech seals when I installed ARH high performance seals (the green ones). Should I put a drop of silicone oil on these ARH seals periodically? If so, how often?
Thanks!

I've never thought of lubricating my breech seals. Thanks for the thought. When the gun is in the safe I do close the breech but do not latch the cocking lever. That way I do not have the constant compression on the seal.

Thomas: I do the same thing regarding latching the cocking lever. The breech seals seem to last longer.

The green breech seals look like automotive AC seals. Are They?

I have no idea fi they are the same a AC o-rings. All I know is that the last much longer than the standard black o-rings.
