Took my new AEA HP Carbine in .25 out of the box yesterday and was already planning to polish the barrel crown based on other AEA threads. Once I got a close look at it I'm thinking it needs a lot more than just polish. Would anyone recommend either cutting the barrel back to get a clean break on the rifling, or turning a 45 degree taper to cut out the 0.2" that AEA hacked up?
