Tony, we kind of have 2 camps. Me and JC are Mrods and Norman , Donny and possibly Glenn are Hatsans. So you are going to get mix opinions. . But what gun did you get that is in .257 caliber? I would think you have a hard time finding those pellets reasonably priced for plinking.

I'm going to evently get into casting my on pills for it so the cost wouldbt be that high. Rj porter is probably the cheapest guy I've found at .22 cents a round. But if I cast my own, well after molds and the hot pot to melt the lead down and keep it to temp while casting, I'll then only be in for the cost of lead and my time. Basically I'm going to shoot hogs with this was the plan going with this caliber. 65 to 80 grains at around 1000 fps shoulf be good for braining then at 50 yards are closer. I've shot the mrod, but the carnivore was my first ever hatsan. I love the European guns, but just can't see spending $2 or 3k on just a gun that's regulated and gets awesome shot count. But I'm also just really getting into this hobby and in the past 5 months I've bought 3 rifles so far. And it seems I'm on the northern part of the state from most of y'all. I think I can get to Conyers in about a hour and a half coming down thru winder and then Loganville and walnut grove to 138.
Hey guys,I live in Atlanta and very new to this. In fact, I haven't bought a gun yet. My biggest question mark is investing in an air tank. I can get a 4,500 psi 90 cubic inches tank, but wont get too many fills. Then to upgrade to a larger tank, it takes a bite out of my budget. I am thinking of selling one of my high-end airsoft guns to get a bigger budget. Because once I get into this, I know I will only want more guns. I really like the idea of a bullpup and almost bought the gladius when it first came out. Also looking at the Brocock Compatto (semi-bullpup). I know Norman will push me to a Sumatra. Have also thought of getting a Jkhan Krosa. Anyway, I would like to meet you guys and learn for you.
