Hello all,
Just received my Striker edge .25, but i was wondering what scope zero i need to set it up.
Currently getting a hawke vantage 3-9x40 AO Mil-dot on it.
This gun is purely for destruction, on soupcans
So if i zero my gun at 20 meters i need to use 1 dot at 40 right?
thanks all

I can't say what scope settings to use for your set up. However, I recommend making sure your barrel pivot screw stays tight otherwise it won't matter how you use your scope. Use lock tite if necessary to keep the barrel pivot screw from loosening up so easily.

I have .25 caliber Edge rifles in both the Vortex and spring versions plus a 1000X .25 that started life as a Vortex and is now a springer and my Vortex actually has that same Hawke 3-9x40 on it. Mine are sighted for 25 yards and you may find that, depending on weight of the pellets being used, you may need more hold over as the heavier weight pellets will drop faster once you double your distance.
How much you'll actually need you'll have to put to the test after you get the scope mounted and dialed in and can actually start shooting at the ranges you want to see what it will actually do with different pellet weights.
For what it's worth, they are very destructive on soup cans not to mention squirrels and such...lol
