Thanks 13

PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: Benjamin Fortitude Leak Question« Last post by kbstingwing on Today at 07:43:22 PM »try putting a few drops of silicone oil through your fill port, it just may need a little lube to soften it up and might solve the leak.
I put 5-10 drops in the female fosters fitting in the hose, connect to the gun and fill with air, air will force oil into male fosters and valve to lube the o-ring. 15

I did not try to pressure the cylinder with the barrel removed and not connected to gun. I will try this, again Thank You 16
Air Gun Gate / Re: What airgun related did you do today?« Last post by avator on Today at 07:38:02 PM »didn't get to do anything air gun related, my mower seized up after I did an oil change, found out that the Governor shaft had broken, I was wondering why sometimes it would start up and be wide open throttle, broken governor shaft is pinned in the crank keeping the piston from moving, I did see small pieces of metal in the oil... Just my Luck..... good thing it's under Warranty.... .It must be going around... fortunately mine was just a plugged fuel filter. But now I am compelled to flush out the fuel tank. 17

Engineering- Research & Development / Re: Trying to add pressure sensors to LDC testing.« Last post by WhatUPSbox? on Today at 07:32:14 PM »Yeah, I'm working on my strategy for the portable test.
In the mean time, as a comparison, I ran a test in the current configuration using the all hollow LDC segments (results below). With the hollow LDC, the pressure rise in the cap occurs much earlier. Pretty much at the speed of sound after the barrel uncorking. On the microphones, the initial noise spikes occur as before, consistent with geometry and a source at the uncorking. The second batch of noise occurs earlier, probably tied to the pressure reaching the cap earlier. It will be interesting if trends show up as changes are made. 20
