yes the spring will fit. but imho it isn't worth changing. tune and lube and seals will make it better. also check the bottom of your gun to see if it's a uk model. if it is and has a pentagram on the bottom usually by the trigger guard it's a low power gun. the uk had a couple different power levels.

The UK limit is 12 FPE for rifles and 6 FPE for pistols, and the Tempest is well below the latter which equates to around 600 FPS.The “F in pentagon” mark is there to show it’s under the limit, but again no modification is required to achieve this.All that being said, the Hurricane was the first pistol in this “family” to be designed (introduced 1977). Some early examples actually did come perilously close to the power limit, and the spring strength was reduced. But I believe all Hurricanes and Tempests made since then have used the same spring.
