LOL no screws have been turned, I have to resist the urge to turn them myself, they do kinda look real, but I will get it shooting again. I did dig up some youtube videos on it awhile back.

  You got lucky! lol   I said earlier it's a bit of a pain to load but you get used to it. 
This is the hardest shooting bb pistol I have at this point.
 Never mind aluminum cans, this can put holes in steel soup/bean cans! (not through both sides)

Let me just say.... those floating torsion trigger springs on the Mendoza RM377 are an exorcise in patience and contortionism. If someone were to watch a silent video of my facial expressions during the process they would probably think I was having finger nails pulled out with pliers. It had been way too long since I worked on mine to remember the tricks.
But persistence paid off and the gun is repaired. Nothing would make me happier than not having to go through that again.

I mentioned a week or so ago, I was having a hard time getting TX200 #3 to cock and fire.
I was received many suggestions from local tuners.
The last (and correct one) came from the great and powerful (no, not OZ), Motörhead.
He told me to unscrew the piston stem a full turn and try it.
Of course another tuner told me to make it flush with the seal end of the piston and loc-tite it in.
“Red or blue?”
“Doesn’t matter.”
This am I had to use vice grips on the stem and a pipe wrench on the piston to break the loc-tite (red) loose.
I didn’t monitor how many rotations I made but it looks like about 2-3 threads.
I put everything back together (for the 15-20th time) and tried it out.
Whoopee!!!
My friend in Kansas gave me the rifle (with a walnut stock which I moved to another rifle while working on this one) and I know he had had it for 12 years so I purchase another AA Factory (FAC) rebuild kit for it.
(I have the same kit in my 11 year old TX which has seen 60,000 pellets down the barrel.)

So after breakfast I put a 2-7X Hawke Vantage (The only one I have and not using) on the rifle, sighted it in and touched off about 100+ of 4.52mm 8.64 H&N FTT pellets.
(I do not know if the Vantage is springer rated.)

The speed is a bit slow but should improve to around 13-14fpe after the spring breaks in like TX#1.

It is tangy and re-fines that word and is in dire need of a DELRIN spring follower and top hat.

I will put a few more coats of BLO on the beech stock that is n the rifle now and shoot it Sunday at offhand silly wet.

I scoped my .22 cal HW30S rifle last night and got it sighted in @ 20 yards this morning.  Looking forward to trying to shoot some groups with it later to see what it’s capable of (more like what I can do, the gun will out shoot me).

Went to the LGR and practiced breath control, trigger squeeze and trigger manipulation while aiming.  That's all I can say here.....

Reassembled the Notos with ported restrictor plate and polished trigger.
Used electrical tape to "shim" the "wiggly" butstock.
Now rattle free.
Still no joy with the hand pump leak...about another week for the GXPump replacement....

 Gave my Stoeger s3000c the spa treatment. Cleaned the barrel, deburred the compression tube and gave it some good quality grease.
Having way too much fun with this $69.94 plinker.

When the bottom finally drops off it sure puts a smile on my face.

Shooting that laaaaast shred of aluminum dangling the bottom part is ridiculously, disproportionately, bizarrely, humungously satisfying.

Remember all the YouTubes posted during COVID lockdown, of “oddly satisfying things”? Well, I nominate the can drop as the #1 oddly satisfying airgunning phenomenon. #2 for me is shooting a can in such a way that it jumps way up, spins around—or better yet, flips over—and then plops down in the same spot, still vertical. But #1 is more satisfying because it is aimed for, intentional. Can acrobatics tend to be unexpected, not planned.

I haven’t yet done it, but shooting a fly might be #3.
