Well I pulled the trigger on a Swarm Magnum gen3i 22 caliber.I was surprised there really wasn't any feedback on either gun on this thread. Maybe they are not as popular as I had imagined.Anyhoo, looking forward to shaking it out when it gets here in a week or so.Good shooting, Shane

Prairie dog and jackrabbit shooter?
Did you see this video?or this one?https://www.youtube.com/@THEGatewayToAirguns/search?query=swarm%20magnum
Trigger? Crony numbers? Finicky loading pellets of different lengths in the mag? Any mis feeds/dry fires?
Looks like you are in a great place to shoot. I’m surprised you haven’t gotten more responses here. I have a gen 2 swarm magnum but haven’t shot it since I got a couple of pcp rifles. On mine, the plastic moderator must not have been centered because i had a pellet clip a baffle and shatter the inside. It was not hard to open up the shell and remove the plastic. I’m not sure that a spring piston needs a moderator but one thing I’ve been meaning to do is 3-D print some replacement baffles for the moderator, just haven’t gotten around to it.
Just recently at AN, a snooty Weihrauch guy opined (after claiming he can pick up any Weihrauch at random and shoot 1/4" groups at 25 yards with it straight out of the box):"I can at random pick up any Gamo off the shelf and get a 2 inch group at this same 25 yards. Gamos are for folks shooting at one gallon bean cans. They are also for YouTubers held in pocket shooting 2 inch groups at 30 yards and saying, it was the wind son, it was the wind."And the sad reality is, this got just about the most likes of any comment there in recent times.
I amwatching this thread with interest, the curiosity kind I think all the Gamo 10 shot guns are fundamentally the same thing but with different plastic bits tacked on The big difference for me is that the Swarm gen3 in New Zealand is $899 ooNZ ,without scope I bought the BSA Spitfire for $500 00 with Bsa scope it failed as I expected my Spitfire puts out 21 6 ft/lbs with JSB 15 89 pellets . That is with 40 mms off the spring and a12 inch barrel I am about 3 or 400 ft above sea level and inland 4000 ft, I have been that high only in an airplane Just of note is my Umarex Octane Elite A big long heavy awkward powerful gun that is hard to cock and has a very heavy trigger accurate but the big plus is that it has taught me more about airgun shooting than any top end gun.of. just awkward out rabbit shooting but worth the money for me
