If you want added security I recently got one of these recoil reducing mounts, and it works great.That looks like an engineering mess and a weak point that could possibly make holding zero very difficult. It has to have at least a few thousandths of clearance for those rods to slide. I'm not about to do the trig to see what angle that might allow the scope to twist into.
I keep an old 4x16 CP around for the express purpose of testing powerful springers (D460, TF89, etc...). I figure if the gun will break a CP 4x16, it will break any scope.
