When it rains, it pours, huh Paul. I hate days like that, when every thing you touch goes to pot. I have been lucky with the nomad ll. Never had a problem with it. 5 years old and still going strong. Having backups for emergency is the best way to go. I will eventually get another compressor for that reason but for now the nomad and tanks will hold down the fort. Best of luck in getting back in the game.
LOL Paul... I did notice you took the for sale off... too funny.BTW... come to think of it... weren't you at our place when we had 2 compressor failures?
I've never had an issue with my Hill EC-3000. I do have spare fuses and never needed them. The EC-3000 is a rugged pump as long as it's maintained.

You think those failures were all my fault? Hmmm... Well, with the luck I have with compressors, it very well may have been my bad juju that caused them to fail! Well, Ace let me down, they didn't have the correct amperage fuse in the mini metric size I need. I guess I'll be ordering from amazon and waiting for them to arrive before I can see if it will be back up and running! I want to ensure I order the correct type. Thanks....
I bet those rat's are having a dance party.... a live one this time.. I can see them now... mooning the camera.

Thanks....I popped mine out to check. It is a slow blow because it has the nodule (usually silver) in the center on the Hill factory fuse.... however Little Fuse or BUSSMAN could make it with a "spring" style fuse wire. As long as it matches the T15AL 250V slow blow specs, you are fine. Just don't go fast blow, or else it will pop during filling under normal conditions. They are T15AL 250V Slow Blow fuses:
That makes since why he thought it said 115a it was an L not a 1.
I did an estimate, with stored air and full guns I can easily fire 2000 shots, before surrendering to break barrels and pumpers.
When you get your fuses in, get a piece of electricians tape and tape a spare on top of the black cap box on the motor.
I should have enough to tape a half dozen to it, just in case!I sure wish I could find a US source for the rebuild kits! It only has 7 hours on it, and the rebuild kits are for 50 and 100 hour service. I fear I’ll probably need some parts to get it filling like it was before. But, $50 shipping from the UK on a $60 kit is a bit steep, especially for a couple o-rings, bullet valves and little balls!
