Yep, our Food Saver has a "Moist" setting, not sure what it changes but it works.
Betty Lou just confirmed that her Food Saver has a moist setting.. among other settings as well. She uses that thing just as much as any of her other kitchen appliances. She freezes meats in serving sections so she can slice off as many servings as she needs for a meal. We do our monthly bulk food run and she spends the next couple days cooking batches, sealing servings and freezing.She even chops, blanches and freezes fresh veggies. So much better than canned.Marinated meats vacuum sealed and frozen take on a whole new level of flavor. It's like the marinate gets forced into the fibers of the meat.
