Shot the Crosman 130 after installing new seals. This is NOT a high velocity pistol.

HW 30S (Pretty good trigger, pretty accurate, fun to shoot. It's a keeper)
Winchester 1100S (Possibly the worst gun I've ever owned. Gave it away.)
Crosman 600 and Sheridan E (CO2 is not my cup of tea)
Daisy and Sears .177 Target BB (Cool, but I'm glad technology has moved on)

I adjusted the piston headspace on Stubby yesterday. It made a significant improvement in velocity. 14.3gr Piranhas are up from 584 fps at eight pumps to 623 fps and almost 14 fpe. Accuracy at 25 yards with the Piranhas is very good but it's better with 17.6gr Norma GTFT and there's more retained energy. From the markings on the gun it appears to have been made in May of 1967. It is a Sears Model 126 19300 so it slightly precedes the first model Crosman 1400. Except for the Dovetail on the barrel it is essentially a first model 1400. I have wet stripped the stock using linseed oil, turpentine, and a green Scotch bright pad. It took a while to remove the stain a former owner had applied and while the stock isn't perfect I think I'm done with it. When I got it it was in good condition but needed a reseal. After scrubbing the barrel it showed signs of real accuracy so I started hunting for the best pellet.
Now after two years it is resealed, tuned, polished, it has a fabulous trigger, and it is laser accurate with the right pellet. Not bad for a 55 year old BB gun!

Shot the Webley Osprey outside at cans then brought it inside for some bullseye practice.

It was sunny but cool today and I had a few minutes after the memsahib's dentist appointment so I got out the chronograph and generated some numbers with Stubby.

Took out my early Crosman 101, first model. Was powering up pretty well. Was a little loud with 5 pumps. Sighted in with Superdomes was hitting 1.5 inch target at 60 feet.
