Hate to sound like a wendy whiner, but man this new format is like super bright. It's hard to look at first thing in the mornings.
Can we possible get a "DARK MODE" button added to the software so we can have a black background?

A white lettering on a dark background, please. Momma made me turn it off last night (I read on the kindle in bed) as it is just too bright.

A proper dark mode for the forum would be great, but you can force Chrome to do it for you. This was in another thread, but I think it could be useful here.

I'm trying the forced dark mode now and it's an improvement, but not perfect. Some of the buttons, like "reply" are illegible in forced dark mode, but not a big deal if you know where all the buttons are already.

Seems a little more "grey-er" other than stark white today.

It isn't even just in the morning.
Looking at a WHITE screen is like looking at a bare light bulb.
My windows background is "dark grey."
So I second the vote for a DARK mode, please.

The only thing that bugs me is the bright green new tags. I mean I may be half limey but I'm also half krut and there ain't no lime green in krut ville.😁

I like it better now..
Odd... That reply was from my work computer.
But now that I am at home it is back to "stark white".. I closed my browser, cleared my cashe', and logged back in....and it still is not the subdued grey I saw at work... THAT was nice. :(

Do we need to alert a certain mod about this? I placed it here, but really not sure where else to go with it. Dark mode is so much nicer for nighttime browsing.

Here's a preview. This is from my phone but the Chrome web browser looks the same. I had developer options enabled on my phone so I was able to force dark mode on it too.

The bright green are horrific. No need for such garish colors. Please tone it down a touch.

My background is grey, and I don’t know what bright green you’re talking about. I didn’t do anything to change my screen.
I’m working on a MAC. Not sure if that has anything to with anything.
