My Sheridan Blue Streak (pre date codes) was a family passer down and has been in storage for 20 years or so since I graduated to rimfire guns (it also had developed an issue holding air that was never fixed so it was retired). During that time I was also given a Silver Streak (1994) that I was told also has an issue. Anyway, I now have a son and want to introduce him to gun safety and shooting skills with these pellet guns and want to start getting these things back operational. I'll probably send them out to Baker or Mac1 but figure I might look at tinkering with them myself since I'm mechanically inclined.I've seen two links posted to a service manual several different times while searching the forums and each time I got to download it (two different links have been posted) the links are dead. Can anyone direct me to a working link to the Blue/Silver Streak service manual? I have the pdf's from the Crossman website but these other posts eluded to a more detailed service manual. What the gus are currently doing: Blue streak doesn't build pressure and silver streak is extremely difficult to cock (haven't taken the stock off to lube the moving parts not accessible from the exterior as of yet). Thanks so much!
Ordered the sauce....probably won't have time to screw around with it and try some other things mentioned till next weekend anyway. Thanks for all the tips.
