Domed pellets for a Gamo

What brand of domed pellets do Gamo barrels in .22 typically like? My Wildcat Whisper shoots very well with Meisterkugelns but they don't work well when the range goes past about 20 yards. Superdomes are not the answer - they are even worse at medium to long range.
I ask this because I don't want to spend a lot of money on premium pellets that test poorly. I'm not opposed to paying for quality but I don't have the budget to try lots of different weights, styles, and head sizes.
Thanks,
HA

2 of the same exact guns arent going to like the same pellets,
might not be what you want to hear,
but its true.
to find the best shooting pellet youll have to test them for yourself.
that said, every airgun ive ever owned shot better groups with some flavor of jsb or h&n pellets.
you can get jsb and h&n sample packs from pyramyd air.
or ebay usually has sellers selling samples of pellets also.

If you go to YouTube and search 'Gamo swarm .22 pellet test' you will get a ton of videos to help you choose pellets Gamo barrels tend to like.
It is true that no two barrels are just alike, but Gamo barrels are consistent enough that you should get similar results from the same rifle with the same pellets most of the time.
Just in case you haven't done it already, you might clean the barrel and check the stock screws. Gamo barrels show up pretty filthy most of the time, and screws loosen from shooting. (It may make all the difference with the pellets you have now.)
I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but I hope it helps.
I am on a budget, so I shoot Walmart Crosman CPHP pellets 90% of the time and my Gamos like them.
If I took the time to wash, weigh, and sort the Crosmans like the Brits do, they might give premium pellet accuracy.

It is always a matter of testing but my one does well with JSB Exact Heavy.

This is what I shot with Crosman Domes in 22 today at 15 m. Had a few flyers, but those where on me, not the domes. Heres a target sheet of other pellets I shot, 10 rds at each target.
Oh, it was a Gamo Swarm Whisper for reference.

Back when I had a Gamo Hunter .22 cal, it would shoot JSB Exact 5.52's well. Each gun is different, yes, and the Hunter was only a 21 J / 15.5 fpe gun, but barrels of particular makes do have tendencies as to which pellets usually perform well in them, across several models and power levels.

The best pellets in 22 for Gamo I have found are JSB Jumbo at 15.89gn JSB Hades at 15 89 (expensive) FTT at 14.66 g all the rest are unsatisfactory . I can't make up me mind which is the best for my rifle. The same goes for 177.but in 177 I have established best pellets.
Note ,I have a .177 Webley and Scott it will only shoot JSB 4 52, and very well Anything else it shoots like the garden hose

Hospassasin,
Like others said different barrels like different pellets. You can try Crosman CPHP 14.3gr theyr usually around 6.50$ for 500 from wallyworld or ama zon. Though youd want to clean your barrel before running Crosmans < antimony > and reclean before switching to other non Crosmans. A clean barrels need to be seasoned to buildup lead again, so having flyers in 1st 10-20 shots is ok. Crosman CPUM 14.3gr is a Dome and does very good in some of my .22s, though cost is around 10$ for 500.
If your AG doesnt do good with Crosmans, try HN or JSB, though theyr costly compared to Crosmans. HNFTT 14.6gr 5.52, HNB15s, HNB18 are dome pellets
NVak.
