I'm going to pull the plug on this for my car. What is the best price you guys have found besides the $399 price on Amazon.wll
You mean you didn't buy 2?LOL.... just mashin' yer taters..
Did you get a 110 adapter also, or are you just going to run it off the battery? Please post a review when you get a chance. Thanks
WOW, what a neat small portable compressor, perfect to take on a trip for a few fills, and of course more fills with extra batteries.wll
You don't need that extension/adapter if you are going to use Makita style batteries. They fit just fine.If you want to use non Makita batteries, that require the use of another adapter to convert them to Makita style, you need the extension to allow it to connect to the non-Makita battery adapter to the pump.
It's just taller, like the factory GX battery is compared to a real Makita battery. It will fit the pump without needing an adapter. The guy that needed the extension cord was trying to use a Milwaukee battery or something like that. With the Milwaukee battery attached to the Makita adapter it wouldn't fit the pump. So he had to use the Makita to Makita extension cord.A word of caution though. The GX battery charger may not charge the aftermarket Makita battery. I don't trust it to even try to charge my own Makita batteries. And the GX battery won't operate my Makita tools, nor fit a Makita charger.

I put the big 18V x 9AH battery in the GX charger last night and looked this morning --- it's charged it to 100% ! I took that battery over to my little GX battery powered air pump, put that battery in (it fit perfectly) and it started pumping, it works just fine --- boy am I happy :-)Thank YOU BSJ !wll
