Two suggestions:1.Make sure that the walls of your pump tube are clean. If there is any residue from a degraded old pump cup, this can limit your pumping pressure.2.There may be a burr on the inside of the pump tube where the pulp pivot pin passes thru. If so, this may have damaged your new piston cup and/or valve O-ring when you installed them.....Have you chronied your pellet speed to see if you are actually maxing out at 5 strokes??
I would use the original brass valve with a new valve stem.Unless it's damaged it's a better option over the aluminum valve.Brass is much harder and will not dent like aluminum.Look close at the valve caps, they are not the same. That's all it takes to limit pressure.

There doesn't appear to be any Flats on it to get a wrench on anything. I wanted to open up the original brass one, didn't spend too long on it as I didn't want to mangle it. I figured original brass was probably better then the new aluminum.
