Congratulations on the find and your effort was rewarded👍That’s a great looking carbine. What would you compare it’s shot cycle to?
I enjoyed your comparisons. The Stingrays stock reminds me of the old Webley Raider 10, which I know nothing about but have always liked it’s compact and simple shape. They would look great side by side on a wall. Keep looking for your dream AGs while enjoying the ones you have🙏🙌👍
Nice buy! I have a love hate relationship with the Webley rifles!

I've had good luck with 5 out of 6 modern UK Webleys - 4 in .22 and 2 in .177.The problem gun is a .177 Longbow I can't get to group at all and I haven't figured out what's wrong with it yet. The crown looks fine, the barrel feels smooth and consistent when I pull patches through, the lockup seems good, tried different scopes, etc. I hope I figure it out someday...
I have a Deluxe Carbine Stingray .22. Pretty snappy shot cycle. Does 646 fps w CPHP's. If yours vibrates the "Spring Tamer" guide might be broken. Mine was. I turned a one from delrin. No vibration from it. The seal was fine so I left it alone. Good handling, nice looking gun. I bought an ARH spring but have not installed it. No compressor needed for me. Just pushed hard against my padded workbench and removed the pin. BTW mine has the threaded muzzle brake and no sights. Same for my Tomahawks.I have beautiful walnut Tomahawks in .22 and .25. The .25 does 725 fps for 23 ft lb with FTT's. The stocks fit my large hands NP.The Webley Longbow SE on eBag was so so nice a few weeks ago. eBagger got it for $738.88! I just didn't feel like digging that deep. I doubt I'll get another chance at one. I can't own them all.
