With the rounded pump tube cap and barrel extending to the near the end of the cap, it is a BS C Series but maybe not a C9.( looking at Tony H picture )
I think you can see both the SN and the "C9......" comment on the tube.SN 106239
OK, thanks. Y gun also has the white band on the butt. Very surprised it is an early 90's gun. I thought, knowing this old guy, it would have been older. I thought this gun was 10 Yeats older then my Crosman Model 1, ends up the Model 1 is 10 years older then it.
To adjust wind age , use the screws on the front sides of the sight. Those are very short, so be careful. Loosen right screw 1/2 turn, the. Tighten left screw tightly. Double check that both are tight & test fire. The sights should now be very close. Re-adjust a tad if you need to.

It is common for folks to misdate their C9s because the serial numbers overlap with mid '70s Blue Streaks. Here's a post about the C9 era serial numbers from a gentleman that researched it: https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=112577.msg1096671#msg1096671Here's a list of the changes in Blue Streaks and C series through the years, but it doesn't address the C9s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheridan_ProductsThe C9 kept the same valve and piston arrangement as the C series, but it has a different trigger, safety, and stock. It is basically a .20 cal 392P with a butt plate and rounded chrome pump tube cap. It still has all the power, accuracy, and durability that made the previous Streaks famous, but with a little more heft and girth. Here's a pic to show differences and similarities of the guns in question Top - Bottom:1974 Blue Streak1978 C Series1993 C9 Have fun and enjoy your Blue/Silver/C/C9/C9A Streaks!
C Series started in 1977,
Quote from: DanD on June 07, 2022, 04:53:56 PMC Series started in 1977, I disagree.
I thought Sheridan named the 'Streak's "Model C" all along.Started with the "Supergrade" model A, then B and then C... CB was a Blue,the E was a C02 pistol, the F was a Co2 rifle, the H was a pump pistol.
