Here's a slimmed down version.Good thing I took a pic as the .pdf I made won't load.
I don't know of any place that makes custom reticles Richard, and I have to wonder what the cost would be.But, if enough people give good input and have interest, maybe we could cobble together some sort of group buy. I think it would have to be a springer safe, reasonably priced scope. Something like Sightron or Athlon might be willing to do. Athlon has a few modestly priced SFP scopes that could work, come to think of it.And I think it would be a great rimfire scope as well, so any scope company looking for an edge would be wise to be interested. It would work well for centerfires as wellLets keep tweaking this for airguns and see what we come up with.
One to possibly get ideas from made by Discovery. FFP but no IR which might well throw off some of the FT shooters who like IR for shaded lanes.https://airgunopticsplus.com/collections/scopes/products/discovery-optics-hs-4-16x44-sfai-first-focal-plane-shockproof-rifle-scope-includes-sunshadeThe HS line for what it's worth is also rated by Discovery for spring piston airgun use. May well be another company you could submit your finished idea to and see what they have to say since yours is different from what they're making.
I have a Vortex Diamond Back 4-12x40AO mildot scope with no mildots above the the crosshair. I don't like that. I sometimes zero at 2 mildots hold under above the cross hair at 25 or 50 yards so when I try to shoot 75 to 100 yards I don't have to use so much hold over. Trying to keep everything closer to the center of the sight picture. I don't no if what I'm saying makes sense.
The VT-2 reticle worked well for me but the scope "not so much". The "lighted reticle circuit" started malfunctioning
Very similar, but a little cleaner...
