They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

I may be one of the few people I guess who mostly thinks of Co2 as outside only.

Basement shooting with the washer and dryer running works well here (and helps motivate laundry behaviors)
Nothing says clean clothes like an opportunity to shoot a gun

Yes sir. In my neighborhood it's the only place that's convenient. Also happens to be my garage, 97F & 58 % RH tonight.

That kind of garage shooting, with such variable temperatures summer to winter, does make co2 a bit more work to stay exactly POA/POI day to day. Find yourself adding or subtracting elevation pretty often. All the other types of airguns (springers, MSP, SSP, and PCP’s) don’t care about temp change nearly as much.
Springers have their issues, but the SSP, MSP, and PCP’s are basically recoil - vibration free..
Second problem with ultra short range shooting is that we start thinking we’re good because we’re making “bug hole” type clusters...get a rude awakening once we get 25 or 40 yards to shoot over.
Not that I don’t do it...and with co2 mostly...but I keep a rifle for that specific type of shooting. Power is a negative factor, only accuracy is needed.
Yeah...it’s raining it’s butt off right now, and I want to shoot a newly tuned cdo2 rifle that goes 15.6 foot pounds...so it’s going to get shot indoors/ultra short range. Hopefully that won’t happen very often.

RS, you are correct on the "bug hole" clusters. However, the garage is the easiest place for me to shoot. I do practice with small, 3/8" bullseye targets and 1/3 size 5 meter targets. The same 5 meter targets used on the GTA 5 meter pistol matches.

Nope. All my shootin' happens outdoors. All my Firearm shootin' happens anywhere on my 20 acre homestead or on our 45 acres that my wife inherited. Most of my airgun shootin' happens on my patio shooting north out to 60 yards or northwest out to 100 yards. Where I live I can shoot my Co2 airguns 9 months out of the year.
