Very interesting. More options is always better. Be sure to show the test birdhouse Dave
Yep if at all possible I try to limit my print to under 12 hours. I would rather do more prints than one long one for a batch of parts or a multi part item.
Pretty cool!A friend and I were just talking about large scale 3D printers. We were talking about printers large enough to prototype rifle stocks. I personally love hitting the start button on a 30+ hour print.
yea, its weird the commercial ones available go up 10 X in price once the z is above 600 mm.. No idea why.. They do make 1000mm Cubes , but theyre like 10,000 dollars.. its nuts.. the ender can actually be modded to 400 by 400 by 1000mm if needed , all for pretty cheap.. one guy even sells kits. i didnt buy a kit because i wasnt extending x and y , otherwise i would have https://enderextender.com/
An ender is always a very solid option.
Rob, If you are printing stuff for your daughter, you can up your game with this. Some sparkly makes everything better.
